Who NSFAS Funds
NSFAS funds South African citizens studying for their first undergraduate qualification at a public university or TVET college, subject to a household income means test. Students from households receiving a South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) grant qualify automatically on the means test, since SASSA's own threshold is stricter than NSFAS's. If You Are Rejected: The Appeals Window
