What "Tawjih" Means in Practice

Tawjih is the Arabic and French-Moroccan term for orientation, the general process of guiding bac holders toward the right higher education path. It is not the brand name of one official government app. The platform that actually runs Morocco's national post-bac orientation and registration for regulated-access schools is called CursusSup , at cursussup.gov.ma, run by the Ministry of Higher Education.

A number of private websites also use "tawjih" in their name to offer orientation advice, tests and guides. Those sites help you research programs, but registration and official wish submission for regulated schools happen only through CursusSup .

What Goes Through CursusSup and What Does Not

CursusSup centralizes applications to Morocco's regulated-access public schools: the ENSA engineering school network, ENCG business schools, EST technology institutes, FST science and technology faculties, ENS teacher training schools, and similar national schools that admit by file review or their own entrance test rather than open registration.

Open-access public university faculties, covering fields like Droit (law), Lettres (arts), Sciences and Economie et Gestion, generally do not use CursusSup. You register for these directly with your regional public university once you have your bac results, since these faculties admit any bac holder from the region without a competitive selection step.

CPGE (classes preparatoires) registration also runs through its own separate platform rather than CursusSup, so check your target lycee or the CPGE-specific portal if classes preparatoires is your goal.

Step by Step: Using CursusSup

1. Wait for your official bac results and your bac exam number, which you need to create your CursusSup account.

2. Create your account on cursussup.gov.ma using your personal and bac details.

3. Browse the list of participating schools and programs available for the current cycle, filtering by region, field and school type.

4. Build your wish list (voeux), ranking schools and programs in the order you actually prefer them, since the system tries your first wish before moving down your list.

5. Submit your file before the deadline the ministry publishes for that year's cycle, along with any supporting documents your chosen schools require.

6. Track your dossier status on the platform as schools review files and, where relevant, run their own entrance tests or interviews.

7. Check allocation results when published. The platform matches your bac profile and preferences against available seats and returns your placement.

If You Are Not Admitted to Your First Choice

Placement follows your ranked wish list and the seats available at each school, so a strong bac record does not guarantee your top choice if that school has more qualified applicants than seats. If your first wish falls through, the system moves to your next ranked wish automatically, which is why the order you set matters.

If none of your CursusSup wishes place you, the open-access university faculties remain a direct fallback, since those do not depend on the CursusSup allocation. Later reaffectation rounds also happen, when some schools reopen seats left unfilled after the first round of offers.

Practical Tips

• Register early once the platform opens for the cycle. Slow registration does not lower your rank, but it risks missing document deadlines at popular schools.

• Double check every document you upload matches the format each school asks for, since incomplete files get set aside during review.

• List more than one or two wishes. A short wish list raises your risk of ending up with no placement at all if your top choices do not work out.

• Keep your CPGE or other separate applications moving in parallel, since CursusSup does not cover every higher education route in Morocco.
