A shorter, restructured test from January 2026

The new 1-6 scoring scale
Every section now reports a score from 1 to 6 in half-point steps, replacing the old 0-30 per-section scale. The total score also moves to a 1-6 scale instead of the old 0-120 total. A score of 5 on any section lines up with CEFR level C1 for that skill, giving a single consistent standard across Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking.
