Catalan Language and Literature at Master's level is an Andorran state qualification created by government decree in 2015; eUniv's own version was approved under Decree 241/2021 in July 2021 and is set to launch with the 2024-25 intake, nearly a decade after the original decree. It prepares graduates for linguistic consultancy, editing literary texts, research, language planning, producing consultation materials, and the study and promotion of Catalan language and culture, including the management of services that protect and promote this linguistic heritage.
Entry requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, and teaching is offered in Catalan, Spanish and English. The course runs for four semesters (two years), covering 10 subjects at five per academic year, for 120 ECTS credits overall, after which graduates may continue into eUniv's Doctoral Programme.
