Overview
The Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance prepares students for careers in accountancy or finance through lectures, projects, field trips, internships, case studies and industry seminars, with the aim of raising graduate employability in the sector.
The third year introduces intermediate accounting, auditing and cost accounting alongside intermediate finance, business law, insurance matters, professional ethics and the fundamentals of money and banking. The fourth year moves into advanced accounting, contemporary accounting issues, research methods, the monetary and financial system and investment-portfolio management, with two free electives, and students are encouraged to take part in clubs, competitions and conferences alongside their studies.
Admission follows the university's standard undergraduate policy, requiring a recently issued secondary-school certificate recognised by Ahlia University.
