This is Bahrain Polytechnic's top-up route onto the Bachelor of International Logistics Management for holders of an Airline Transport Pilot Licence, letting pilots convert flight training and command experience into academic credit toward a full bachelor's degree. The college markets itself as the first in Bahrain to build an academic pathway specifically around ATPL qualifications, aiming the degree at serving pilots who want a formal credential without starting a business degree from scratch.
Teaching runs in six-week blocks across multiple semesters, mixing taught modules with applied, project-based learning and finishing in a capstone project built around a real industry problem. The standard route is designed to finish in 18 months, with a slower 24-month alternative also available, and first-year semester-zero courses are delivered asynchronously so serving pilots can study at their own pace around flying rosters before moving into the structured on-campus semesters.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Top-up applicants need a Level 6 Diploma (NQF) or equivalent, naming the awarding institution, in an eligible diploma field; Bahrain Polytechnic diploma holders are exempt from the qualifying Semester 0. Top-up in Visual Design (School of Creative Media) requires a portfolio, and at least two years of industry experience is required.
