Overview

The English-taught bachelor in automotive technology covers the systems of cars, trucks, motorcycles and motorsport. Students learn to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, study internal combustion, hybrid and electric drivetrains, and deepen their diagnostic and management skills. Phase one combines general science with practical labs, and phase two adds electric and hybrid vehicles and alternative fuel systems. Phase three covers autonomous driving systems and a bachelor's thesis in the final semester. Students can specialise in trucks, motorcycles, motorsport or heavy-duty vehicles. The three-year programme is taught on campus and starts in September, preparing graduates for roles such as automotive expert, service advisor or diagnostic specialist.
