Overview

This demanding route, set up by ENSCI–Les Ateliers and Sorbonne Université, trains scientific profiles open to creation and to the relations between innovation and society, and designers prepared for complex, technology-intensive innovation. It runs over six semesters with equal shares of science and design teaching. In three years students earn a Licence in Sciences and Technology from Sorbonne Université and the Certificat d'études supérieures en design from ENSCI. Science teaching focuses on mathematics, physics, engineering and computing. Graduates can continue to a science master's or to ENSCI's Créateur industriel diploma, which confers master level.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Prior work in visual arts is required. Apply through the ENSCI portal, not Parcoursup, for scientific baccalauréat holders with a good level in all subjects. Admission tests are the ENSCI entrance competition.
