Program details
Overview
This double licence gives students complete philosophical training on equal footing with a science programme. It aims both at demanding scientific education for students drawn to philosophy, and at giving science students a way to examine the epistemological, ethical, social, political and economic issues of scientific progress. Students also learn the norms of scientific research.
The third year is spent abroad, at a partner university offering both science in the chosen L2 discipline and philosophy. Students graduate with the Licence in Philosophy from the Faculty of Letters and the Licence in Science from the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering.
