The Licence Sciences et technologies is a transdisciplinary mention that brings together exact sciences, from life sciences and chemistry to physics, mechanics, earth sciences, computing and mathematics, with human sciences and the arts. Its track Sciences et design is run in partnership with the Grenoble school of architecture (ENSAG).
In the first four semesters students take science courses at the university, with 18 ECTS per semester, and design courses, with 12 ECTS per semester, alternating between lectures at ENSAG and design studio projects. The last two semesters specialise in science or design, with about 80 percent of study time in the chosen field, and semester five encourages a mobility period, possibly abroad.
