The three-year Licence Sciences sociales (SHA track) analyses contemporary economic, social, political and cultural change. It is multidisciplinary, built on geography, history and philosophy, with law and economics added. Students take two modern languages in each year, plus a discipline course taught in English at every level of the degree.
Teaching is designed jointly so that content and methods from the different disciplines reinforce each other, with an emphasis on analysing complex social and environmental phenomena. Exchange students can take a dedicated set of social sciences courses. The Sciences humaines appliquées track is the specialisation listed on the page.
