Overview
The Licence Arts plastiques teaches the core techniques and concepts of visual arts through practice in several media, including drawing, painting, three-dimensional work, printmaking, digital imaging, video, photography and performance. Theoretical study covers art history, art science, aesthetics, film theory and new media theory. Students also gain transversal and language skills that ease later reorientation.
The degree sits within the university's Arts portal, built on four types of mainly transversal and linguistic competences. It prepares students for Masters in the Arts and Design fields, whose standard tracks aim at immediate professional integration or research careers. The programme also includes compulsory internship placements.
