GreenHeart Medical University's Five-Year Doctor of Medicine program is built for students who have finished secondary school but have not yet completed undergraduate studies in a pre-medical field. The track opens with four semesters of foundational pre-medical coursework at the undergraduate level, after which students who meet the required academic standard move automatically into the regular MD curriculum. From there, the program continues through five semesters of basic medical sciences and five semesters of clinical medicine, for a total of fourteen semesters spread across five calendar years, equivalent to seven academic years of study delivered through an accelerated, three-semester annual schedule. Entry requires twelve years of elementary and secondary schooling, satisfied through qualifications such as a High School Diploma, CSEC, CAPE or GCE A-Levels. Indian nationals complete an extra six months of mandatory elective training, extending their path to five and a half years overall.
