Doctoral School of Educational Sciences

The Doctoral School of Educational Sciences is the third-cycle research unit for education studies at the Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University of Chișinău. It was set up in 2015 within the Faculty of Educational Sciences, building on the university's earlier work in organising doctoral studies in general pedagogy and in the theory and methodology of instruction. Research here concentrates on making educational practice more effective, drawing on human potential, and supporting social policy that secures favourable conditions for every child to learn, develop and live well. The earlier doctoral specialities carried the codes 13.00.01 and 13.00.02, and the experience gained in them is presented as the basis for scientific performance that can compete internationally. Doctoral candidates are offered a dedicated setting in which to find information, develop their work and join the school's general research agenda. The page also publishes examination session calendars for several academic years, but it gives no fees or application deadlines.
