Overview
This LLM builds a practical and academic toolkit for working across regulatory and supervisory bodies, policy-making organisations, law firms and corporates, and economic or legal consultancies, with a focus on finance and banking, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, competition policy, competitive strategy, and the legal and economic sides of market regulation and supervision. Teaching comes from economists and legal experts working as an interdisciplinary team, who bring together theory and real-world knowledge, and the programme centres on the interplay between economic and legal perspectives, examined from the standpoint of both the regulator and the regulated.
