Overview
The first-cycle programme combines engineering and technical knowledge in materials engineering with automation, electronics, electrical engineering, IT and mechanical engineering, alongside general science and social science. Students solve engineering problems across these disciplines and weigh technical actions against economic factors. The teaching specialisation adds psychology, pedagogy and subject didactics, preparing graduates to continue into second-cycle teacher training.
All specialisations award the engineer (inzynier) title at first-cycle level. Graduates can run their own businesses, work in research units, industry, public administration or research and development, and continue into second-cycle and postgraduate study.
