The programme trains electrotechnical engineers for the Air Force permanent staff, combining basic science, engineering science and specialist training. Part of the academic training takes place at IST, complementing teaching at the Air Force Academy. In the second year of the bachelor's, students are distributed across four specialisation areas: avionics, energy and systems, electronic systems and computers, and telecommunications and electronics.
The first cycle has 240 ECTS over four years, followed by a two-year master of 120 ECTS, to which students are automatically admitted. Graduates carry out military and technical functions that support Air Force planning and operations.
