The Máster Universitario en Nutrición Humana offers advanced, research-oriented training in human nutrition for graduates in nutrition and dietetics, nursing, medicine, pharmacy and other health sciences. Its presentation states that the master does not qualify holders to practise regulated professions outside their original degree, for example the dietitian-nutritionist role. Each health profession keeps its own regulated competences.
Entry follows the general official master's rules. Admission priority levels are set by the Andalusian university distribution commission. High priority goes to nutrition and dietetics, nursing, medicine, pharmacy and food science; medium priority to biomedical sciences, sport and physical activity sciences, physiotherapy and other health sciences; low priority to biology and biochemistry.
