The two-year Home Patient Care associate programme trains technicians who give home-based health care to patients with chronic illness. Under the Ministry of Health guideline, patients who need continuous care at home receive services from trained health staff. The programme runs four semesters and covers patient care at home, supportive services and rehabilitation. Graduates receive an associate degree and the title Evde Hasta Bakımı Teknikeri after completing 120 ECTS credits with a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. Graduates may move to four-year nursing, physiotherapy, nutrition, health management and social work programmes through the DGS exam.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission through central placement by ÖSYM using the TYT score type. The 2026 guide lists 35 places and a lowest placement score of 317 (success rank 666,598). Students who pass the TYT placement are admitted to the programme.
