AA/AS in Business/Commerce, General

The Associate of Science in Business is a transfer degree for students heading toward a bachelor's program in fields like accounting, finance, marketing, information systems or personnel management. The curriculum pairs business courses with mathematics, science, social science and humanities, and it follows the Texas core curriculum. The suggested course order covers four semesters. Students are advised to meet an advisor after the first thirty hours and to check requirements at their receiving university. The page lists each required course with its credit value and course type, so students can see which classes belong to the field of study and which fulfil core requirements. Those marked as field of study courses are accepted by Texas public institutions.
