Overview

Interior Design (B.F.A.) is an undergraduate major in the 2026-2027 Brenau University catalog. The catalog entry lays out the degree plan for interior design, including the courses a student works through to complete the major. Every degree plan begins with an orientation requirement. Students who bring fewer than 24 hours of transfer credit choose a first-year course such as First Year Experience, First Year Seminar, or Foundations for Success. Students in the Women's College also complete the Gold curriculum, a set of writing-designated courses whose required hours are adjusted to the amount of credit transferred in. The remainder of the plan combines liberal education requirements with major coursework, so the program reads as a full bachelor's pathway rather than a single subject track.
