BA/BS in Behavioral Sciences

This bachelor's program takes an interdisciplinary approach to human behavior, drawing on the social and behavioral sciences. The major itself carries between 44 and 45 units of study. Coursework combines the major with the university-wide general education block, a writing assessment needed for graduation, and a statutory requirement on United States history, the Constitution, and American ideals. Electives fill the remainder so the degree reaches at least 120 units overall, with a portion of the work at upper division level. The catalog entry describes the requirements for the 2026-2027 academic year and points students to the university catalog for general degree rules. Prospective students can use the program page to compare the major with related offerings at the Carson campus and to plan their path toward graduation. Advisors help match elective choices to personal goals and future plans.
