Cert in Computer Systems Analysis

This certificate prepares students for jobs such as computer support specialist, user support analyst and office systems specialist, along with other technology specialist roles. Students learn to review software packages and hardware so they can choose suitable equipment for a computer-based workplace. They also practice installing and troubleshooting equipment and supporting the people who use it. Because the courses overlap with the Computer Information Technology associate degree, graduates of the certificate are encouraged to complete the remaining degree courses and earn the larger credential. The program page links to labor market data for the field, a college catalog listing required and recommended courses, and a form for requesting information, after which a program manager contacts the student. The tuition shown there is the Florida resident rate per credit hour, and nonresident students are directed to the general tuition page for their rates.
