AA/AS in Chemistry

Queensborough Community College, a City University of New York campus in Bayside, Queens, offers Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Sciences, a dual/joint program with York College as an Associate in Science credential. The program centers on the study of matter, its interactions and its transformations. Coursework also introduces pharmacy as the profession concerned with providing medications to patients. Students move between the community college and York College under the joint arrangement. Course requirements, advisement and related details are published by the college under its programs of study, so applicants should carefully review the current listing and speak with a department adviser before choosing any classes or a plan of study. Students apply through the college admissions office, and anyone weighing a transfer path can ask advisers which senior colleges accept the credits earned here and how to plan each semester.
