MA/MS in Microbiological Sciences and Immunology

Students may complete this master's degree through a research thesis or through a non-thesis route. The thesis option develops laboratory technicians for university and biotechnology settings and offers specialized research experience to medical technologists. The non-thesis option is built for technologists working toward microbiology specialist credentials, teachers wanting deeper knowledge of immunology or molecular biology, and applicants intending to enter medical or dental school. By graduation, students should command wide biomedical knowledge, understand how microbes and immune responses work, evaluate current studies and contribute new findings. A full-time schedule lasts two years, and part-time enrollment is allowed. Applications for autumn 2027 open in August 2026.
