AA/AS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

Criminal Justice is an associate of arts transfer degree built around a field of study. It leads toward a criminal justice major at a university. The program is offered across a long list of Lone Star College campuses and centers. Students can reach the Criminal Justice Department and an advisor to choose a suitable degree plan. Credits transfer to Texas public colleges and universities, and the college promotes a two-plus-two plan where the first two years of a bachelor's degree are completed here. Students should research universities and submit applications on time. Because the degree is organized as a transfer pathway, it suits students who already know the subject they want to major in and prefer to complete lower-division requirements close to home before moving to a university. Planning with an advisor early helps avoid repeating courses after transfer, and the program page links to degree maps and a list of destination universities.
