PGCert in Mathematics

This graduate certificate is meant for licensed teachers who want to add a Math 5-9 endorsement to a current teaching license. The coursework combines deeper mathematical content with teaching approaches suited to middle school learners, and the certificate can also be taken as an emphasis within the Master of Arts in Education. Certificate-only students apply as Certificate/Professional Development students. Entry requires either a bachelor's degree with at least a 2.50 average, or a master's degree from a regionally accredited institution, and may be asked for proof of teacher licensure.
