BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering

This undergraduate mechanical engineering degree teaches the principles behind machines and physical systems and how to apply them. Students gain hands-on experience in computer and laboratory settings and develop skills in solid and fluid mechanics, control systems and robotics. The engineering accreditation body ABET has accredited the program. Graduates find careers in defense, aerospace, automotive and telecommunications, in resource conservation and renewable energy, and in emerging areas such as biomedical devices, nanotechnology and mechatronics.
