The Construction Technology associate degree trains students for hands-on and supervisory roles in building commercial, industrial and civil structures. It is open to students who are in, or have finished, a registered Minnesota apprenticeship. The curriculum pairs construction knowledge with applied management so graduates can lead complex projects. Typical topics are building mechanical and electrical systems, concrete and soil technology, estimating and supervised field work. Classes meet in person and in hybrid formats, and the degree fits into four semesters of full-time study. Graduates can enter the workforce or transfer into a related bachelor's program, and an advisor can help plan that move. Tuition is charged per credit, and the college lists a separate per-credit rate for fully online courses. Eligible students may also look into the North Star Promise program, which provides free tuition.
