BA/BS in Homeland Security

The Criminal Justice degree with a Homeland Security specialization at Saint Leo University trains students to help protect communities online, at national borders, and across transportation routes. Students become knowledgeable about terrorism at home and abroad, weapons of mass destruction, policing ethics and law, and regional political forces. The program rests on a moral framework that respects the dignity of every person, in keeping with the university's Catholic character. Students may study on campus, at an education center, or online. Education centers use short academic terms and hold classes in the evenings and on weekends to suit busy schedules. Saint Leo lists the expected time to complete as 4 years, with 120 credit hours in the program. Prospective students can request information, speak with the admissions team, or submit an application through the university website to learn how to get started.
