The Associate of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant prepares students to support speech-language pathologists who work with children and adults who have communication disorders.
The course of study covers speech and language disorders and includes supervised treatment and field experience in educational, clinical and medical settings. Graduates can administer prescribed treatment, conduct screenings and provide general assistance, and are eligible to register as assistants with the state board.
