AA/AS in Business Operations Support and Assistant Services

The Administrative Assistant degree prepares students to keep an office operating smoothly, from calendars and phone calls to drafting business documents. Courses teach project and office management, workplace writing, presentation skills and standard office procedures. Students also strengthen organizational, supervisory and customer relations abilities and gain a firm base in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. The training applies equally to corporations, nonprofit organizations and government offices. Completing the degree also earns two certificates that are built into it, one for front office work and one for clerical assistance.
