MA/MS in Dance

This MA in Dance, delivered with limited residency and with an education concentration, is a program for working and aspiring dance educators. It centers on researching how dance is taught and learned and allows students to keep their current jobs while studying. Residency requirements bring students to the Denton campus for short in-person sessions during each term, while the remaining coursework is online and asynchronous. The program serves educators in schools, colleges, community centers and studios. Cohorts are admitted only every second year and start in the fall of even-numbered years. The application deadline falls in February. Both Texas residents and out-of-state students may apply, and scholarships carrying in-state tuition are available to qualified applicants.
