PGCert in Computer Science

This graduate certificate develops advanced understanding of computer systems and software development. Participants study chosen areas of contemporary computing, such as smart information systems, distributed processing, networking and software engineering, and become familiar with recent advances like neural and evolutionary methods, imaging and data science. To complete it, students choose two courses from a listed group that includes algorithms and complexity, theoretical computer science and software development, then add three further courses at the 500 or 600 level. The certificate also offers a route into the computer science master's programs at the university. Applicants submit materials through the university's applicant portal, and the program page lists admissions requirements and application dates.
