MA/MS in Architecture

Students pursue the accredited Master of Architecture in the School of Architecture and Community Design, part of the College of Design, Art and Performance. The degree suits applicants with a prior degree in architecture or a pre-professional field. The curriculum is demanding and aims to ready graduates for the full range of professional practice. Study centers on urban architecture and related subjects, drawing on the varied metropolitan setting around Tampa Bay. Applicants whose undergraduate major is outside architecture may still be considered, provided they complete the prerequisite coursework first. Prospective students should consult the catalog entry for contacts, deadlines and delivery details, and note that a bachelor's and master's pathway exists for current undergraduates. Prospective students should check the current graduate catalog for contacts, deadlines and delivery information, and confirm that the general graduate admission and English proficiency rules of the university are also satisfied before they apply to this major.
