Overview
Anthropology at Washington State University is available as an online Bachelor of Arts within the arts and sciences college. The major explores human diversity across places and eras.
Students consider topics such as where people came from and what human nature is, and how biology and learned culture interact. The discipline spans four subfields: archaeology, cultural, linguistic and biological anthropology, giving a broad view of what people share and where they differ.
The program admits students for spring, summer and fall, each term with its own application cutoff.
Because every course is taught over the internet, students can pursue the degree without relocating to a campus. Prospective students can request information or apply directly from the program page, and should check the stated cutoff for the term they want before preparing an application.
