2024 STPM Results: Record-High Performance
The 2024 STPM results were released on 24 June 2025. According to Bernama reporting from the Malaysian Examinations Council:
- 42,861 candidates registered and 41,434 sat the exam
- 41,422 candidates (99.97%) earned the STPM certificate
- National CGPA reached 2.85, the highest since STPM began, up from 2.84 in 2023
- 1,266 candidates (3.06%) scored a perfect 4.00 CGPA, up 150 from 2023
- 53 candidates scored 5As across all five subjects, up from 41 in 2023
- All 23 subjects recorded pass rates above 60%
