CENEVAL does not publish a binding career-to-module table; the receiving university picks two modules per career. The mappings below reflect the most common pairings used by UANL, UAEMéx, UV, BUAP, UASLP, and other public universities.

Only applies when the selected career is Medicine/Health Sciences. Premedicina is a 48-reactivo module that cannot be combined with any other specific module.

The Inglés area inside the common Admisión exam is reported on the CEFR scale (A1–B2). Most public universities accept any reported level; competitive programmes flag B1+.

How the EXANI-II Module Mapping Works

Two exams, one sitting. The Nuevo EXANI-II is a single test session that bundles two exams. The Examen de Admisión is common to every candidate and covers five transversal areas: Pensamiento Matemático, Pensamiento Analítico, Comprensión Lectora, Redacción Indirecta and Inglés. The Examen Diagnóstico is built from two specific modules that the receiving university selects per career.

24-reactivo modules, with one exception. Every specific module is 24 reactivos — except Premedicina, which is a single 48-reactivo module and cannot be combined with any other module. That is the "regulatory trap": a candidate aimed at Medicine cannot register Premedicina plus Biología; CENEVAL's registration system rejects the combination. This calculator enforces the exclusivity rule so the displayed configuration always sums to a legal reactivo count.

No binding career-to-module map exists. CENEVAL does not publish an official table that says "Career X requires Modules Y and Z." Each university (UANL, UV, UAEMéx, BUAP, UASLP, UAS, etc.) picks the pair for each programme in its annual convocatoria. The pairings surfaced above reflect the most frequent published combinations across Mexican public universities — always cross-check your specific university's convocatoria PDF before exam registration.

The 15 canonical specific modules. Administración · Aritmética · Biología · Cálculo diferencial e integral · Ciencias de la salud · Derecho · Economía · Filosofía · Física · Historia · Literatura · Matemáticas financieras · Premedicina · Probabilidad y estadística · Química. Newer convocatorias add Pensamiento matemático, Inglés y Contabilidad as extra optional modules used by some universities.

Falsification defence. Picking a Health Sciences career but choosing "Biología + Química" yields exactly two 24-reactivo modules (48 reactivos of Diagnóstico). Picking the same career with the Premedicina toggle yields one 48-reactivo module (also 48 reactivos), and the Module 2 slot is locked as "N/A — Premedicina is exclusivo" rather than silently doubled. The total reactivo count and progress bar reflect the chosen configuration; the bar can never exceed 100% (48 of 48 Diagnostic reactivos).
