MA/MS in Business Informatics

This Master's degree was updated under the academic guidance of Vienna's BOKU University. It responds to labour market needs and to digital change in business, agribusiness, services and government, and unites computing, data science, artificial intelligence and business processes in a single interdisciplinary framework. Students build advanced skills in programming, software engineering and enterprise business systems, and learn to back data-based decisions and innovation in organisations and companies. Graduates can build software and online platforms for managing processes, logistics, money matters and marketing, design and analyse data systems, databases, business intelligence and decision-support solutions, use machine learning, cloud platforms and security tooling in business contexts, and apply data analytics, big data and visualisation to forecasting and process improvement. Alumni quoted by the university work as software developers, business analysts and e-government specialists, and some teach part time at the university.
