The Professional Diploma in Tourist Operator at the University of Vlora is a two-year, four-semester programme at level 5 of the national qualifications framework, worth 120 ECTS credits. It is offered through the Faculty of Economics and has a professional rather than an academic orientation.
The curriculum focuses on managing tourism operations across several settings: hotels, travel agencies, tourist guiding and event organisation. Professional practice is built into the programme so that students gain workplace experience alongside their classroom studies.
Anyone who has completed secondary education, whether general or vocational, may apply. For the 2026-2027 academic year the university announced 50 places, with 40 reserved for Albanians residing in the country and smaller allocations for second-programme students, transfers, foreign-diploma holders and several priority groups.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Open to all candidates who have completed secondary education, general and/or vocational. Quota 2026-2027: 50 places in total, divided as 40 for Albanians within the country, 3 for a second study programme, 2 for study transfers, 1 for holders of a foreign diploma, and single places for orphans, persons with disabilities and Roma and Balkan-Egyptian candidates. A further place is set aside for applicants from the Albanian-populated territories.
