Associate of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies

The Associate of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies is a 60-credit-hour program at Briercrest College and Seminary that pairs broad exposure to the college's general curriculum with focused study in Biblical Studies and Theology. Students complete 12 credit hours of required core Biblical Studies and Theology courses, 18 credit hours of Biblical Studies or Theology electives, 15 credit hours of General Studies core courses, and 15 credit hours of free electives, plus a non-credit service and experiential learning component. Classes are small and discussion-based, and students take part in internships and service opportunities. The program is accredited through ABHE. It functions both as a standalone two-year credential and as a foundation for students who go on to a Briercrest bachelor's degree or transfer their credits to another institution.
