MA/MS in Molecular Biosciences

The Molecular Biosciences master's programme at the University of Tartu is a full-time course taught in Estonian in Tartu. It runs for two years and carries 120 ECTS credits. Because the life sciences and medicine are developing quickly, both industry and research increasingly need specialists with a broad grounding in molecular biology. The programme gives students thorough knowledge of the processes that take place inside cells, which they can apply in business and in research, from medicine to the green transition. Graduates are meant for both industry and scientific careers, where such specialists are in growing demand. The programme has 15 student places and the study place is tuition-free. Applications are submitted through the SAIS admission system between 1 February and 30 June, and the academic year begins on 31 August.
