This one-year Certificate in Agriculture trains graduates to set up and run small commercial farms on their own, combining hands-on fieldwork with the practical judgement needed to operate independently. The course is built to produce innovative graduates capable of running small agribusinesses off the back of their own initiative rather than needing ongoing supervision.
Worth 90 credit points at the Koronivia campus, entry requires 11 years of education or equivalent plus a Certificate II in Agriculture or a related technical-college qualification, agricultural vocational study from a registered vocational centre, or international benchmarks such as an ATAR Grade C, an ACT GPA of 2.0, or an IB Diploma with an unweighted GPA of at least 2.29; applicants short of these pathways may still be admitted on relevant maturity, work experience or prior learning.
