Fiji National University's Diploma in Animal Health (Level 6) is a two-year, full-time programme that gives students comprehensive knowledge and technical skills in animal health and its management. Delivered at the Koronivia campus for 240 credit points, the qualification builds skilled capacity to manage livestock-based industries and deliver efficient, needs-based veterinary services across Fiji. The first year opens with an animal care and management industrial internship and animal nutrition, fodder and pasture management, building toward further clinical and production-focused units in later study. Graduates are prepared for technical roles supporting veterinary services, livestock health monitoring and farm-level animal care across Fiji's agricultural sector. Entry calls for a Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination result (2015 onward, unscaled) of at least 200 marks out of 400, including 50 percent in English, Mathematics, and one of Biology, Agriculture or Chemistry plus a further listed subject; an equivalent pre-2015 Seventh Form result, or a passed Foundation Course covering English, Mathematics and Biology or Chemistry, is also accepted.
