Overview
The Humanités numériques track prepares managerial roles that require a technical and critical understanding of digital data, documents and the tools that produce them. It combines methods from the humanities, social sciences, statistics and computer science to build, analyse and interpret digital corpora. The track is open only as a double degree: students enrol mainly in a disciplinary master and take this track as a complementary specialisation. The four-semester programme mixes theoretical, methodological and applied teaching with a compulsory internship and a dissertation. Year one has 32 ECTS of digital humanities and 28 ECTS in the disciplinary master; year two has 50 ECTS of digital humanities, including the internship and dissertation, and 10 ECTS in the disciplinary master. The track is co-accredited with Université Lyon 2, Université Lyon 3 and ENSSIB.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Double-degree track: students enrol mainly in a disciplinary master; students who already hold a disciplinary master may enrol as main students.
