This telecommunications and mobile networks Master gives scientific and technical foundations for understanding telecom infrastructures and communication systems. Course content covers the design of second, fourth and fifth generation mobile networks, radio and core architectures and protocols, digital communications, network routing and quality of service, virtualisation and software-defined networking, object-oriented programming, antenna propagation, electromagnetism and electronics for telecoms. The programme requires solid signal-processing mathematics, digital electronics, radiowave propagation and antenna systems, and two programming languages to be mastered by the end. Students learn IP protocols, fixed-network routing and network virtualisation. Applicants need a scientific Bac+3 for year one and a scientific Bac+4 for year two. Admission is on file, and the programme is open through apprenticeship, continuing and initial routes.
