Overview

The Master Santé publique trains professionals who gather, analyse and interpret health data to understand population-level issues and support decisions and health policy. The programme is interdisciplinary, combining quantitative methods, data science, epidemiology, humanities and social sciences, digital health and scientific communication, with strong fieldwork and research links. It is taught in French and includes internships. The master is organised in two complementary tracks: Data science en santé and Épidémiologie et biostatistique avancées, both over M1 and M2. The advanced epidemiology and biostatistics track develops in-depth skills in epidemiological methods and statistical modelling.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: First-year entry depends on file review. Advised licences include the BUT Sciences des données, the licence MIASHS and the licence Ingénierie et management de la santé. Second-year priority goes to students who completed the Lille M1; external students may be admitted directly to M2 after review by a pedagogical committee. M2 applications go through the University of Lille e-candidature platform.
