Program details

Overview

The Master in Private Law is organised into four tracks: fundamental private law, family law (domestic, international and comparative), comparative law, and justice, proceedings and procedures. Students follow the faculty's careers events and forums, and the tracks are linked to the Centre de Droit Prive Fondamental, a research unit that supplies much of the teaching team alongside external practitioners in the professional tracks. The programme lasts two years and totals 120 ECTS credits. The first year combines core legal units, language courses, specialised units and an open unit. The second year includes a fundamental unit, a specialisation unit, languages, and a final year that the comparative law track structures around foreign law in practice and a dissertation or internship worth 24 ECTS.
