Overview

The sociology licence gives solid tools for understanding major contemporary social issues, including the foundations of the discipline, theoretical approaches, social change and the observation of the contemporary world. It also teaches the methods needed to carry out a sociological survey, from data collection to empirical analysis. Students address issues such as work, precarity, health inequalities, immigration, gender relations, family life, digital change and cultural production. Each year includes lectures and tutorials on building a training project, and early internships support master applications. The degree is taught in French.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Year one is open by right to holders of the baccalauréat or an equivalent diploma, or by file via validation. Years two and three are open by right to students with 60 or 120 credits from the same course.
