BA/BS in licence informatique

The Licence Informatique gives students three years of solid foundations in computing, covering algorithms, theoretical computer science, programming, architecture, networks, large data management, internet technologies and web development. It also builds English and transversal competences such as analysis, synthesis, written and oral expression and project management, alongside pre-professional skills. The degree runs as a classic track and as a work-study (alternance) track. Graduates can continue to the Master's Informatique of the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, notably its data and connected systems, machine learning and cyber-physical social systems tracks. After Licence 2 or 3, students may apply to engineering schools that admit on titles; after Licence 2 they can apply to professional licences. The work-study track prepares for roles as web developer, software developer or database administrator in large companies, SMEs and digital services firms.
